The world of business, technology and politics is constantly changing. What's a good solution today may become outmoded and less effective with the advent of new business relationships, the availability of new technology, and a changing environment of new laws and regulations. When a technical solution is developed it should be engineered with a vision of what might be available in the future and to construct today's solution with this in mind. Unfortunately, in the world of politics, politicians are too often the driving influence which takes priority over technical solutions. The solutions should be flexible and scalable with the capability to adjust and grow. The best solutions insure against obsolesce, and are sustaining to meet the changing challenges. As an experienced engineer, I have the open-mindedness and vision to develop enduring solutions, but I also realize that the political factors can jeopardize creating the best solution.
